Long (Hanoi/Halong Bay/Sapa) - he was great. He told us we were his last tour, so that would be a loss for you.
Thiem: (Dong Hoi/Danang/Hue/Hoi An) - excellent. He knew so much about Vietnam. Being about our age we could really relate to him. He even took us to visit his new house which was being built. We really enjoyed that.
Hoang (Nha Trang) - His English is not so fluent or clear and we didn't find him easy to understand. He seemed shyer than the others.
Tam (Ho Chi Minh/Mekong Delta) - excellent - funny - He knew lots about Vietnam as well.
In all, the guides were excellent.
